Liv Kaupang

Born at 1000 meters above sea level in Haugastøl, the home of Expeditions365 in the mountains of Norway, means that Liv learned to ski before she could walk. Trained as a chef, she now divides her time between leading trips for Expeditions365 in her childhood playground the Hardangervidda Plateau and producing the famous food in the family hotel at Haugastøl.

She has also taken her fantastic cooking to Antarctica where she worked one season as a chef and two seasons as Camp Hotel Manager for Antarctic Logistics and Expeditions. Liv has also made a kite Crossing of the Greenland Icecap and climbed Kilimanjaro and Island Peak and Mera Peak in the Himalaya.
